Tabriz carpets belong to the high-quality carpets of Iran with an always first-class processing and materials. The fineness of a Tabriz is indicated in "Raj". A Raj indicates how many knots are located on a width of 70 mm and thus judges the fineness of the carpet. The most common Raj indications are between 40 and 60 Raj, rarely at 70 Raj.
